Interested in volunteering on an ongoing basis? Consider these opportunities:

Volunteer Gardeners (Spring – Fall)
​Work as a team with lead volunteers.
• Thursday 9 am-12 noon at Deepwood Gardens
• Friday 9 am-12 noon at Gaiety Hollow

Woodworkers (Year-round)
Help with fence, gate, and other repairs.

Researchers (Year-round)
Help maintain our Archives and develop our new online Storymap.

Docent Training Program ​
Our six-month Docent Training Program begins in October each year. To prepare docents to lead garden tours at Gaiety Hollow and Deepwood Gardens, candidates attend monthly lectures and participate in discussion groups. ​After completing the program, docents are expected to lead at least six tours each season for two seasons (April through September).

Prefer to help occasionally? Consider these opportunities:

Annual Neighborhood Garden Tour (Spring)
Help with logistics on tour days.

Program and Event Planning (Year-round)
Help organize and staff garden events, workshops, and donor receptions.

​Special Projects (Year-round)
​Help organize our database and other office needs.
